Broomhill Hotel, Sculpture Gardens and Contemporary Art Gallery
Broomhill lies in one of the most glorious valleys in North Devon surrounded by hundreds of acres of woodland and bound by its own stream. The Broomhill Sculpture Park displays one of the largest permanent collections of contemporary art and sculpture in the South West.
The museums collections and displays cover the natural and human history of this beautiful part of the country. Highlights include the Tarka Gallery, the Story of North Devon and the Regimental Collection of the Royal Devon Yeomanry.
The museum includes a Gift Shop, Tearoom, Tourist Information and Visitor Reception. With a packed program of temporary exhibitions and events, there's something for everyone.

Ilfracombe is a harbour town, about a 30 minute drive from Barnstaple.
Damien Hirst's 'Verity', a 20m tall bronze statue overlooking the harbour entrance, is Ilfracombe's newest attraction, a 'must see' for visitors and locals alike.
For a unique beach experience visit 'The Tunnels' in Ilfracombe, holders of a blue flag and seaside award, or Hele Bay to the east of the town also award winners, for good bathing and rock pool exploring.
You will find plenty to do in and around Ilfracombe with a terrific range of activities available to suit all tastes including walking, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, horse riding, cycling, surfing, walking, sub-aqua diving or simply exploring.
The Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway
The famous Lynton & Lynmouth funicular Cliff Railway is the most exciting way to travel between these two historic towns & will be the highlight of any visit. Enjoy stunning views of the North Devon Coastline as you ride the steepest totally water powered railway in the world!
Perched on the cliff top is a grade I listed historic cafe offering a great location for a Cream Tea with a view. Just what you need before exploring the delights of Lynton & Lynmouth & Exmoor.
The Burton at Bideford
The Burton is an art gallery and museum on Kingsley Road in Bideford which has collections on various topics of interest connected with Bideford’s history and cultural heritage. The art gallery displays work by local, national and international artists.
