“Working with Watercolour we will paint directly from the subject matter around us, hopefully outside if the weather permits. We will look at various ways to use paint to produce light and atmosphere in the paintings.
As well as demonstrating I will provide individual teaching and advice throughout the day. Watercolour paint and paper will be needed and an easel would be very useful although a good board may suffice.”
Colin Allbrook is one of the most respected and renowned painters in the West Country. Working in oils and watercolour, through the use of light and colour, Colin depicts the life and activity of the area. Regularly selected for prestigious exhibitions such as the Sunday Times Watercolour competition and the Royal Institute of Painters in Oils, he is also an elected member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour (RI), the Royal Society of Marine Artists (RSMA) and the Society of Equestrian Artists.
