Deadline : Friday 24 July 2015
Deadline Time : 6 pm

Fee : 1,000
Budget : 500

TOPOS is looking for an experienced and thoughtful artist working in any form/discipline for a residency in Exeter for five days between 1 – 10 October 2015. The aim of the residency is to collaborate with artist Volkhardt Müller to generate ideas, approaches and new works in response to the landscapes and themes that sustain and intersect the city. The work/process will be exhibited at a public sharing at the end of the residency, with the opportunity to further develop selected pieces for exhibition in the space in November 2015.

We are interested in applications from artists who understand and value processes of working responsively with site and people. We are particularly interested in proposals that might challenge or disrupt the status quo. The artist will be required to be on site for a total of five consecutive days, and to present at a trans-disciplinary public discussion on 15 October.

The fee for this residency is £1,000 plus travel and accommodation provided (billeting with local artists). Materials will be provided through the TOPOS budget to a maximum of £300 in negotiation.

TOPOS is an artist-led space that includes public discussion and participation as part of its working process.
