Roger Cockram

group porcelainRoger was born in North Devon and after first working as a scientist and teacher, he decided to change direction and was accepted into the Harrow School of Art. After completing this course, Roger chose to base his ceramics career back in North Devon.

His signature ceramic pieces often depict marine life, harking back to Roger’s first job as a marine biologist – this attention to detail and his drawing qualities are a direct result of this background.

Roger’s ceramics are regarded as highly collectable, often being viewed as antiques of the future. His work is included in several private and public collections – both in the UK and around the world.

Roger’s exhibition Forty Years a Potter will run from 21 November 2015 – 9 January 2016.

Closed for Christmas & New Year from 24 December 2015 – 4 January 2016
