Judith Westcott

Judith Westcott, Old Growth,  2013Judith Westcott’s work is inspired by the Exmoor environment and the North Devon coast and the rural activities of the area.  She works predominantly in lino and woodcut with prints made from one or more blocks overprinted to create layers of colour.  Judith uses traditional oil based inks and fine papers that are often handmade.  All her work is printed using a small press or individually hand burnished.

Judith has a degree in Fine Art from Plymouth University.

Judith will be exhibited alongside other printmakers in our Five Women Printmakers exhibition from 3 April – 29 May 2015.
